Have worked out a combination of results that would see us relegated.
It includes WHU losing 6-0 to Everton, and 3-0 to Reading
Newcastle beating Arsenal 6-0 at the Emirates.
Norwich winning 3-0 at Man City.
WHU would then be relegated on goal difference…
[but think we are mathematically safe if Sunderland fail to beat Stoke tonight]

What about the teams below us, do they not enter your mathmatics.
Sorry not a clever post.
I think it was me, actually, as Nigel went home to admire his collection of Neil Warnock posters; all I said was, we are not mathematically safe; if Wigan beat Swansea, Arsenal and Villa they have 44 points; Sunderland beat Stoke and beat Southampton and Spurs and draw with Southampton, they have 44; Newcastle beat QPR and Arsenal - 44 points; Norwich beat WBA and Man City - 44 points; Southampton draw with Sunderland and beat Stoke, they have 43; Villa beat Chelsea, 43 points; Fulham beat Liverpol and Swans- 46; Stoke beat Spurs, 43 points; West Ham lose to Everton and Reading, 43 points. And yes we would have to lsoe each 5 or 6 nil; but I am still right; however if Stoke win at Sunderland, as they are doing, then we are mathematically safe. Hope that is all clear....
Not anonymous actually, but Matt, back in one piece from Theydon Bois, where the ice cream van is actually an ice cream car...
So, Stoke drew at Sunderland meaning that we are now mathematically safe (as to get to 43 points Sunderland have to beat both Spurs and Southampton to get them to 44; but then even if Southampton beat Stoke, giving them 42, they would still have to draw against Sunderland to get to 43, meaning the Black Cats would only have 42). Phew, it is lucky Stephen Hawking is available to advise on this stuff.
We may be mathematicallly safe but we need to keep picking up points. I lost £20 to a Southampton supporter at work last year because they came above us. I am hoping to win it back this season. That is not mathematically safe.
Richard, your £20 is mathematically unsafe! Have spoken to Brian Cox and he believes we are safe just as long as we don't go into administration or discover that anyone is owned by a third party...
