Well, at last that's over with and Mohamed Diame remains a West Ham player. The other bonus is that Peter Odemwinjie turn up at our reception. Only major move is Alou Diarra's loan move to Rennes. I'm not sure why we spent £2million on him if he doesn't fit in our plans. Clearly he annoyed Allardyce by claiming he didn't come to England to retire and wanted to play, but he was injured virtually his whole stay. Now he's fit again he's surely a good alternative to Diame, Noble and Nolan in midfield and might be better at centre back than Tomkins. He has seventy odd French caps so it seems odd to discard him so quickly. The big shame is we didn't get a left back, having got close to signing Stephen Warnock. But Cole, Pogatetz, Wellington Paulista, and Chamakh have at least added to the squad numbers and the big plus is keeping Mo.
