4-1 to the Cockney Boys!

Blackpool 1 West Ham 4

Bloody hell - how did we do that? Found the Radio 5 commentary after watching on the club website and we only go and score twice with ten men and no goalkeeper. Always thought concepts such as 11 players and goalkeepers a bit passé. Has to be our best performance of the season and first WHU goals of the season for O'Neil and Vaz Te too. Well played Henri Lansbury, even if they never really tested you. We are top of the league! Come on you Irons!

A Tangerine Dream! Five Live commentray was superb, esp. with the Irons singing "We've only got 10 men", then "We've only got 9 men" when one of our brave boys went down injured. There must be a gag along the lines of "Ten (Rob) Green Bottles" in there somewhere too...

And it must be 40 years to the month that dear old Bobby Moore performed heroics in goal agsint Stoke in that epic League Cup semi final affair...

It's a misty eyed morning.

I liked the "Is there a fire drill?" chant from the Hammers fans at the end. Fully expected to lose at least 3-2 when Green went off. St Bobby saved that penalty as well, only Stoke scored the rebound. Maybe we should start every game with ten men to save the ref the bother od red carding one of us... Great performance.

Any chance you will let Mr Allardyce come to the Molineux?

I will wave as we pass each other heading in opposite directions.

5 Live commentary was excellent, they must have been pretty close to the away end as you could hear the West Ham chants loud and clear.

Personal favourites were "Engalnd's Number 1" sung to Lansbury when he got his first touch, "We can see you sneaking out' to the Blackpool fans towards the end and "Let's go fucking mental" after we scored the fourth. I noticed the commentator was doing his best to keep talking to drown that last one out but he didn't stand a chance!

Yes, James, seemed like Radio 5 was next to the WHU fans and great chorus of "let's go fucking mental!" And hello Adrian, never thought other clubs would be coveting Big Sam! Thought Curbishley would have kept Wolves up, but he's pulled out for some reason. In fairness to Steve Bruce he did recruit all the players who are doing well for O'Neill now... Though seems like you're after Brian McDermott now.

although I was stunned with the win, I am deeply worried that we may well fall apart without key players over the next few games - the league is far too tight, and I don't know if the subs on th bench (Coley may be the exception) will be able to fill the boots.

There is far too much at stake here, and although we have the squad, do we have the depth to keep being at the front of the game.

Green out for what 3 games? Will Ruud Boffin play a bilnder or have a mare against that lot from Thornton Heath on Sat at our place....it is a big ask.

Cardiff are obviously running scared of our magnificent away support. They are only giving us 1,800 tickets (4,200 fewer than for Barnsley's much smaller stadium) and there will be vouchers, that have to be exchanged at a motorway service station, which rules me out, as a I don't have a motor. And for a game that kicks off at breakfast time...Pathetic.

Hopefully Green only gets one game suspension Keef, while Nolan has just one game left to miss and Taylor two. But i agree, we can;t afford self-inflicted absences. Ruud wasn't too bad at Blackburn last season.
