The Evening Standard and several other papers report claims that there was a row between Diafra Sakho and David Moyes last night, resulting in the striker starting on the bench. It's apparently over the bizarre situation where Sakho gets a £50,000 bonus every time he starts a match (but not when he comes on as a sub). If this was negotiated after his self-appointed medical at Rennes last summer then it's an own goal. We shouldn't be having to persuade a player on 40k a week to turn out for extra appearance cash and from the club's view point you can see why they might not want to start him.
It's been obvious Sakho should go ever since he flew to France and then bizarrely turned up at Chelmsford Races with his agent on deadline day. We don't need a player at the club who doesn't celebrate scoring and his presence must be affecting the squad. Yes, if he committed himself to the club and worked hard he could be an asset because he has talent; but with his current attitude it's time to go.

For sometime now, I have been hoping Sakho return to the state of mind he had when he was first signed, but really Moyes needs to sit him down and find out where he's at, if he still wants away get rid off him in January, he does have ability but it appears he is way too complex and this probably creates an unsettling mood in the squad.
No more unsettling than Sullivan and his son tweeting and interviewing though but......
Quite right - if he knuckled down he'd get more games but for a couple of years he's been causing problems ir injured.
