Oh Carroll! Andy's out for the season
Bad news is that Andy Carroll is out for four to six weeks with a ligament tear in his knee. (And just heard it's likely to be all season as he's having an operation ) Seems like it's the old problem of coming back too quickly. Even though he'd looked ok in training, you do wonder why he was risked at Southampton when we had Valencia, Sakho and Cole in the starting line-up. Let's hope Billi can keep Andy in a padded room (50 Shades of Pink?) until August and help him avoid any further mishaps. While better news is that Adrian's red card has been overturned and he can play at West Brom now.

Now for the season. Carlton is our saviour
Who's going to be the scapegoat for some now, if we don't score?
We did get to 4th with Enner and Sakho up front… though a big ask on Carlton's ageing legs. Still, always believe…
Sam's got a plan, Carlton Cole and Kevin Nolan up top. They are not Premier League quality anymore, both good pro`s but to slow, poor control and lack quality at this stage of their careers.Recall Modibo Maiga,he would work playing with Valencia and Sakho.
Who will be the first to say this is Sam's fault for playing Sakho and Valencia together and Nolan too deep!!!
