Goodbye to Boleyn, hello Upton Gardens

Recently took a trip to Green Street and had a look at the site of the old Boleyn Ground. A sad moment. Upton Gardens is looking just like every other development around Stratford and Docklands, all a bit monolithic at the moment. At least there will be a Lyall House and Paynter House, but suffice to say I won't be rushing to buy a flat there…

Was over from Ireland last year to see maiden at 02 arena went down to where Boleyn ground once stood very sad indeed to see ,got very emotional,went to Boleyn pub for a few to relive the good times when I was over for games great memories ,coyi

Yes, would have been so much better to keep at least a part of the ground as Arsenal did at Highbury. At least Ken's Cafe is still open. COYI!
