Je t'aime Dimitri
Interesting and very Gallic interview with Dimitri Payet on BT Sport. Dimitri says of his relationship with the fans: "It was very quick, after just a few months. They took the time to know me as I did them. It gave me a lot of confidence… I felt they they trusted me and were showing it by supporting me all the time. Today I often say, it is a love story. It's the first time in my career I have a song with mu name. For me it's a love story." He describes being close to tears at the reception upon his return against Liverpool and says, "I think it amplified even more my love story with the fans." Not often you get that amount of l'amour from a load of sweaty blokes in the Bobby Moore Stand… J'adore Dimitri!

Sort your French declension out, Pete. 'J'taime Dimitri' indeed! Either 'Je t'aime, Dimitri' or J'aime Dimitri', depending on whether you're telling him or us.
There's nothing wrong with a bit of man love on this level....
Just a humble Essex lad who failed French Shane, will try to remedy as you suggest. It's like a foreign language this French business
And now you've corrected it in the headline, I look like right [pretentious] fool.....
Let me put on record that your declensions were right all along Shane. Pretentious? Moi?
