Note from Statto

George McCartney was the 22nd player to score for West Ham this season on Sunday. Everyone in the squad who's played has scored at least once, bar Faye, Demel, Sears and Dan Potts. Which has in some ways masked our lack of a consistent striker. Midfielder Kevin Nolan on eight is now our second top scorer behind Cole on nine. We have to hope Maynard or Vaz Te are the answer, but encouraging to see so many goals shared around.

Even though we now have a second goal... I really got to say that BFS just can't be watching the same game with those substitutions!!

His first created that Cardiff pressure we managed to withstand more by luck than judgement... I ain't looking a gift horse in the mouth but really feel this scoreline is more luck than judgement after those substitutions...

I thought Lansbury was starting to play ok before being subbed for O'Neil. Cole for Maynard was more or less a straight swap and Maynard had missed a couple of chances so can see why Sam brought on Carlton... let's hope he gets it right tonight.
