Pablo is a Hammer

Exciting news that West Ham have signed Pablo Fornals, the Villareal playmaker, for £24 million. Not sure where this will leave Manuel Lanzini, but if Fornals has been compared to Santi Cazorla then that will do me. He;'s certainly got an eye for a pass and at 23 he's a good age with 150 league games in La Liga and two Spanish caps already. He's also something of a known quantity having worked at Malaga with WHU director of football Mario Husillas. The prospect of him linking up with Amderson and Rice is already exciting. 

Perhaps it's a little worrying that no-one else was in for him, but then again we might just haver landed a bargain. Now Pellegrini just needs to sort out the defence and sign another striker. But always a good thing to get some business done early and Fornals is now formally a Hammer.
