Sweet FA
Terrible decision from the FA not to rescind Andy Carroll's red card - it's surely all a conspiracy to get us relegated. He's actually looking away when his arm swings round. Both Michael Laudrup and Match of the Day pundits and all the press thought it very harsh too. A case of the FA not wanting to lose face by criticising Howard Webb. And what about the simulation? Now all we need is for the Italian duo to turn out to be third-party owned… Have to hope either Carlton Cole or new Italian striker Marco Borriello do it against Villa, Norwich and Southampton now. Anger is an energy, as John Lydon once sang. And now Swansea have sacked Michael Laudrup. Perhaps Chico should be acting manager…

So let me get this straight Pete how come a glancing blow to the forehead is construed as a straight red while the following http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2qx_rysz7c is a mere yellow?
Personally I blame the Chuckle Brothers myself - we spend the first five months of the season without a number nine so come this January (discounting an unfit Italian with a record of one goal in twenty and Carlton Can'tscore) the only position we don't cover in the window is that of centre forward - absolute genius.
Claret and Blue tinted glasses, the decision was correct the fact that flores cheated has nothing to do with it. The reason you are getting so uptight about the decision is because you know that our one dimensional manager has no idea how to win a game without Carroll.
FA JUSTICE
FA AMBITION
FA to Recommend them
FA REALLY SUMS THEM UP
Can't see that decision was correct Anonymous when he is looking away as his arm swings round as he tries to disentangle himself. Red card should be for intentionally raising an arm to an opponent's face. Would any side be happy at losing their only decent striker when he's just returned after half a season out - no!
Down to politics as I warned - Webb is going to the World Cup, so there's no way the FA can overturn his decisions (and drop him from refereering for a week as would usually happen) as it would be seen to undermine him. And the play acting is relevant, as if Cheato had just carried on, as Bonds, Stuart Pearce or James Collins would have, then Webb would never have got involved. Sends out a terrible message to watching youngsters.
