All change at West Ham

A lot going on behind the scenes at the Hammers. Mark Warburton has left (rumour has it he was more attack-minded than Moyes) and now Paul Nevin has gone to Strasbourg with Patrick Vieira. Having already lost Alan Irvine and Stuart Pearce last season Moyes will be wanting to get some of his own men in quickly. Meanwhile Tim Steidten the new Technical director of football has arrived from Bayer Leverkusen. Transfers will apparently be decided by Moyes, Steidten, Noble and David Sullivan, which sounds rather an unwieldy system.

Meanwhile the Guardian's Jacob Steinberg reports that Southampton are interested in Flynn Downes, who might be a good makeweight in any deal for James Ward-Prowse. The Irons are also said to be interested in Everton's Onana, Fulham's Palhinha, Man United's Scott McTominay and Denis Zakaria from Juventus as possibly replacements for Declan Rice - whose transfer is taking several millennia. Please just get it over with.

Everyone and their dog are leaving Westham and it's clear that Moyes's bleak tactics are to blame . Worse , no A-list players want to come to Westham with Moyes . Moyes's man management sucks with both existing players and potential new signings . As usual , Moyes dithering will leave Westham scrambling at the end of the transfer window for over priced F-list players with no time to intergrate into the squad . I fear that Westham will be flirting with the relegation zone again and this time no easy European campaign to ease the pain .

Not that we've flirted with relegation before of course, one wonders how we've managed 6th and 7th and got to European semi finals and finals...

Not down to Moyes anymore, according to sources close to the club we are making enquiries about 20 players simultaneously and Data driven Tim was sorting out his work visa

A bit pessimistic Phil. We've sold one player for a record fee and let Lanzini go at the end of his contract. Lets's see who now signs. And agree MJ, the last three seasons haven't been too bad and ended a 43-year trophy drought.
