Hammers fans banned for one away match

West Ham fans have been banned from the first away game in the Europa League and got to say that's a fair punishment. Admittedly it didn't help that it was a 9pm kick-off time in the Czech Republic and the fans had all day to drink cheap Czech beer. But there was no excuse for throwing missiles at the players during the Europa Conference League Final, even if the Fiorentina players were going down too easily after every tackle. What's more the people throwing the missiles are presumably season ticket holders if they managed to get tickets for the West Ham end and now risk a lifetime ban if identified. A shame that a stupid minority took things too far, on what was otherwise a great night for the Hammers.

It's sad that poor behaviour manifested on such a momentous night for West Ham and those few throwing objects will not be able to follow West Ham at the London Stadium.
West Ham fans are arguably the best in football, other clubs are jealous of that loyalty and commitment.

Agreed, few other clubs would inspire such loyalty after 43 trophy-less years.
